# Country ISO code vs Missingness Indicator

This thread might be related to the other one about NA and Null ([Order colmns in table part](https://odm.discourse.group/t/order-colmns-in-table-part/202)). In R for instance NA will be considered as missing rather than not applicable if I am not wrong. If you want to enforce not applicable then I think the only possibility is “Not applicable” in a character variable.
